Job Description

We are seeking a part-time, term-time only Childcare Assessor to work with students on NCFE T-LEVEL programmes at level 2 and level 3 at Newham Sixth Form College. The successful candidate will be required to work across the NCFE T-LEVEL level 2 and level 3 programmes, preparing learners for their assessment visits in college, visiting learners at their work placements and assessing and guiding them in the completion of their work-based assignments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate learner performance in childcare settings
  • Develop and implement assessment plans to meet learner needs
  • Provide guidance and support to learners in completing work-based assignments
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure seamless learner progression
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality assessment materials

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in childcare or a related field
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work across multiple programmes and sites
