Job Title: Childcare Assessor

We are seeking a part-time, term-time only Childcare Assessor to join our team at Newham Sixth Form College. The successful candidate will work with students on NCFE T-LEVEL programmes at level 2 and level 3, providing expert guidance and support to ensure learners achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare learners for assessment visits in college, utilizing expertise in childcare and education to facilitate a smooth and effective process.
  • Visit learners at their work placements, providing on-site support and guidance to ensure learners meet the required standards.
  • Assess and guide learners in the completion of their work-based assignments, utilizing knowledge of childcare and education to provide constructive feedback and support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in childcare and education, with a strong understanding of NCFE T-LEVEL programmes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality education and training.
