**Role Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled SEN Mental Health Assistant to work with us at Academics Ltd in Headington.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting students with complex needs and promoting their mental health and wellbeing.

About the Position:

  • Collaborating with class teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans for students with SEN.
  • Providing direct support to students with anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, and other mental health challenges.
  • Assisting in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring all students feel valued and supported.
  • Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent support for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality 1:1 support to students, addressing their emotional and academic needs.
  • Participating in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and developments in SEN support.
  • Contributing to the development of policies and procedures related to student support and wellbeing.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Education, or Social Work.
  • Experience working with vulnerable children or individuals with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn and grow in this challenging yet rewarding role.

Salary and Benefits:
