About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a well-established Specialist School. The school is committed to providing inclusive education and support for students with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young adults with SEND or SEMH and possess a patient, adaptable, and caring attitude. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEMH needs in and outside the classroom
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to promote student development
  • Utilize creative approaches to engage students in their academic and social development

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEND or SEMH
  • Patient, adaptable, and caring attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £83.30 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
  • A permanent, full-time contract starting in January 2025
