About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Nurse to join our team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Children's Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with a variety of medical, surgical, ENT, and orthopedic needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care by conducting expert clinical assessments, care planning, care delivery, care evaluation, and clinical advice in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to children and young people.
  • Participate in a flexible 24-hour shift pattern, including long days, long nights, early, and late shifts, covering weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Current RSCN or RN Child registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Suitable for newly qualified Nurses.
  • Desirable: Experience working with children in an acute setting, advanced level paediatric resuscitation training, venepuncture/cannulation skills.
