We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Children's Nurse to join our team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Children's Services department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to children and young people with a variety of medical, surgical, ENT, and orthopedic needs.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical assessment, care planning, care delivery, care evaluation, and clinical advice in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct on the Children's ward.
- Work inclusively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver evidence-based nursing care.
- Participate in a flexible 24-hour shift pattern, including a combination of long days, long nights, early, and late shifts, covering weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Current RSCN or RN Child registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Suitable for newly qualified Nurses.
- Experience working with children in an acute setting.
- Advanced level paediatric resuscitation training.
- Good written, oral, and IT communication skills.
- Safeguarding awareness.
- Awareness and knowledge of the dignity in care agenda.
- Ability to evidence/demonstrate key values and behaviours in line with the Trust framework.
- Venepuncture/cannulation skills.
