About the Role

4Site Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee shell and core construction projects for a specialist subcontracting client.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in shuttering carpentry, steel fixing, or external works, with strong understanding of shell and core phases and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage site operations for shell and core construction, coordinating daily tasks and schedules.
  • Supervise and lead teams with a background in shuttering carpentry, steel fixing, or external works.
  • Liaise with the main contractor's project management team, providing regular updates and reports.

Maintenance of site safety, quality, and efficiency are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should have:

  • A proven background in shuttering carpentry, steel fixing, or external construction roles.
  • A strong understanding of shell and core phases, ideally with subcontractor experience.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Please note that salary estimates may vary based on location and other factors. This figure is based on industry standards for Site Managers with similar qualifications and experience.
