Visionary Leader for Municipal Engineering Team

As a key member of our team, you will lead and build our Municipal Engineering team, reporting directly to the EVP of Infrastructure. We are a multidisciplinary team with a focus on infrastructure and geo-environmental related services.

Key responsibilities include managing and delivering municipal projects including report and proposal writing, business development, client liaison, and project management. You will work with Leaders and other Managers to support inter-office collaboration and resource/work sharing to balance workloads and meet project delivery objectives.

Accountability for the overall financial and operational performance of the department under your direction is expected. You will be responsible for overall resource management, including recruitment, staff development, performance management, and salary review process.

Supporting and/or developing Health & Safety programs is also a key aspect of this role. You will collaborate with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects. Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed.

Requirements include a Degree in Engineering with 10+ years of consulting and/or municipal experience. Municipal Engineering design and construction experience is essential with specific experience related to water, sanitary, and stormwater projects. You must be comfortable interacting with public agencies, clients, contractors, and co-workers.

A demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required. A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage to sites compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance, is necessary.
