Primary SENDCO Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SEND professional to lead our special educational needs (SEN) support and champion the learning of every child in our thriving primary school in Wandsworth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective SEND strategies to enhance learning for students with diverse needs
- Provide tailored education and training sessions for staff and parents to improve SEN understanding and practices
- Support teaching staff in creating inclusive classroom environments
- Liaise with external professionals to secure additional resources and support
- Oversee EHCP processes, ensuring all requirements are met and regularly reviewed
