Senior Technician Pilot Cutters and Barges Opportunity

At Serco, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician Pilot Cutters and Barges to join our Marine Team in Faslane.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain the Pilot Cutters and respective barges, mechanically and electrically, to ensure all operations are undertaken.
  • Undertake the role of Barge Operative when required for liquid transfers.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the vessels, logs, and maintenance records.
  • Record and report data as required.
  • Assist with and ensure compliance with all relevant Oil and Environmental Pollution Prevention Legislation.
  • Ensure all responsible Officers are familiar with Emergency Procedures, Contingency Plans, and capable of operating all Safety and Pollution Prevention equipment and appliances.

Requirements:

  • Requisite STCW qualification to fulfill the primary role of the selected individual.
  • Basic Level Management / Leadership training or demonstrable equivalence.
  • Marine Industry Background.
