About the Role:
Hays PLC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our client, a dynamic manufacturing company based in the Bodmin area of Cornwall. This is a full-time, hybrid role with an immediate start, expected to last up to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Support internal and external audits
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Background in manufacturing is ideal but not essential.
