About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Supply Allies. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and social development of students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to ensure students reach their full potential.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Monitor and record student progress, celebrating successes and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability to changing needs.
