About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Demand Planner to join our team at NJR Recruitment. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing product level forecasts and working closely with customers to ensure optimal stock levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage product level forecasts through the use of historical sales and stock level targets.
  • Work with customers to manage the forecast in-line with customer planned activity.
  • Collaborate with sales and supply colleagues to manage consolidated forecasts on stock held lines to maximize availability within stock targets.
  • Analyze customer databases to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Update weekly order planners post-ERP implementation.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports to summarize forecast vs. sales and stock position.
  • Model volume and operation efficiencies.
  • Report and analyze stock profile, optimum stock levels, and stock turn.
  • New line reporting.
  • Aged stock analysis and suggested actions.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or past experience in an analytical role.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and ensure others do so.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Good team player with a positive attitude to driving team goals.
