Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage client payroll portfolios, including client relationships, risk management, and financials.
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and innovation in the Payroll Operate business.
- Collaborate with other Associate Directors, Directors, and Partners to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with Deloitte and regulatory standards and processes.
- Play an active role in the design and execution of the Payroll Operate business strategy.
- Support the Payroll Advisory team with payroll consulting projects.
- Train and develop team members, including new hires and consultants.
- CIPP or similar qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent UK domestic technical knowledge, with good level of expatriate experience.
- Experience of being part of or managing a payroll work stream within a Professional Services company, or a large Bureau (client-facing or internal).
- Understanding of operational payroll within a large organization or payroll vendor.
- Experience of the full annual payroll cycle.
- Experience of being part of a team to successfully deliver payroll compliance, payroll projects, and deliverables.
- Strong technical drafting skills and verbal communication skills.
- Effective prioritization management and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong team-player.
- Knowledge and understanding of payroll business processes.
- Working with 3rd parties, including payroll vendors.
- Analytical skills used to derive insight from complex and varied information sources.
