About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant Professional to join our finance team at Optical Express Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process and match invoices from suppliers, ensuring accurate coding and timely payment.
  2. Perform data entry of invoices and bank transactions, maintaining up-to-date records.
  3. Scan and manage documents, adhering to company standards.
  4. Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and discrepancies.
  5. Set up new supplier accounts, maintaining relationships and resolving issues.
  6. Answer internal and external queries regarding finance applications and supplier statements.
  7. Reconcile supplier statements and bank transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  8. Collate and submit finance applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements:

  • A competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role.
