About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Automated Assembly Technician to join our team at TQR Consultancy Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automated assembly and packaging equipment, as well as experience with safety and ergonomics in a manufacturing environment.

This is a day shift position working Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30. The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  1. Investigate and resolve production losses, waste, and speed issues.
  2. Implement basic maintenance processes for designated product lines.
  3. Provide direction to shift teams on problematic areas using data analysis from various sources.
  4. Drive centre lining activities for sustained line performance.
  5. Support CI projects/validations to improve equipment reliability.
Requirements:
  • HNC or Degree level education in Engineering/Mechatronics or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum of five years' experience working as a Process / Manufacturing or Production Engineer.
  • Experience with safety and ergonomics in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Systems.
