About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Engineering Technician to join our Process Engineering Team at our Plymouth-based site. As a member of this team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Process group in addressing and resolving technical challenges within our production areas.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include providing technical expertise and support to Production Technicians, acting as a process expert for specific equipment, and mentoring Production Technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge. You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to existing equipment, focusing on cost reductions, productivity, quality, and health & safety.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of an ONC or HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, along with proven engineering experience working within high-speed, automated, or high-volume assembly/manufacturing environments. You will also require excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
