About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Support Coordinator to join our team at Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our care teams in delivering a high-quality family support service in the region.

The Family Support Coordinator will work closely with families and professionals to ensure that the families we support have access to the services they need. This will involve sourcing practical goods and services, applying for grants and benefits, and collaborating with other charities or community providers to obtain goods, equipment or funds for families.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and strong networks with other organisations to provide meaningful assistance to the families we support. They will possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and develop effective relationships with a wide range of people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing practical goods and services for families in need
  • Applying for grants and benefits to support families
  • Collaborating with other charities or community providers to obtain goods, equipment or funds for families
  • Providing administrative support to the care teams
Requirements
  • Professional experience of working in an administrative or coordinator role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of people
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
