Customer Service and Sales Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our retail team in Cumbernauld, United Kingdom. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the store's day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product selection.
  • Offer product knowledge and advice to customers, ensuring they find the right products for their needs.
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain the store's visual presentation and stock levels, ensuring a clean and tidy environment.
  • Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks, ensuring the store is always well-stocked.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets set by the store management, driving sales growth and revenue.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Basic IT skills for till and stock management systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
