Certified Aircraft Technician Needed

We are seeking a skilled Certified Aircraft Technician to work with Flight Operations, ensuring continued safe operation of the aircraft.

About the Position

This position involves certification of line maintenance and repairs on H135/H45 rotorcraft. Type training will be provided for a suitable candidate. The successful candidate will work as a team leader, supervising mechanical fitters and certifying their work.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
  2. Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated LAE Supervisor.
  3. Work as a team leader and ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
  4. Complete maintenance tasks, including airframe structure, power plant, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  5. Replace avionic line replaceable units and conduct simple tests to prove serviceability.
  6. Supervise mechanical fitters and certify their work.
  7. Conduct off-aircraft technical work in workshops as required.
  8. Assist in day-to-day running of the aircraft hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Must have thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems.
  • Knowledge of specialized test equipment relating to engine and airframe systems.

The estimated salary for this position is £65,000-£85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
