About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Helicopter Maintenance Technician to join our team at Guidant Global Careers. As an Aircraft Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for assisting in the movement and maintenance of the UK MFTS (RW) H135/H145 fleet.

This is a non-certifying role that requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. You will work closely with our Shift Supervisor and Certifying Engineer to accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs.

The successful candidate will have experience working on aircraft structures, power plants, and mechanical systems. You will also be comfortable conducting technical work in workshops as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
  • Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated Shift Supervisor or Certifying Engineer.
  • Work to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
  • Complete maintenance tasks, including airframe structure, power plant, mechanical, and electrical systems in accordance with written instructions laid down by OEM.
  • Conduct off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, component, and composite technical work in workshops as required.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
