The successful candidate will join the esteemed team at Airbus Helicopters as an Aircraft Mechanical Fitter. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the continued safe operation of our UK MFTS (RW) H135/H145 fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations teams, fostering seamless collaboration and efficiency.
- Accomplish routine maintenance inspections and repairs, adhering to OEM guidelines and strict safety protocols.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, guaranteeing the integrity of airframe structures, power plants, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Carry out off-aircraft technical work, including component and composite repairs, in workshops as required.
- Contribute to the daily operations of the aircraft hangar, encompassing aircraft movement, housekeeping duties, and general upkeep.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems, staying up-to-date with advancements and developments.
- Familiarity with specialized test equipment pertinent to engine and airframe systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience working on H135/H145 aircraft, with a strong understanding of their complexities and nuances.
- A background in UK Military Aviation or related fields, coupled with a keen awareness of CAA Part 145 and Part M regulations.
