Aircraft Systems Specialist

Line Up Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Systems Specialist to join our team on an initial 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the certification of line, non-routine maintenance and repair of H135/H145 aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
- Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated LAE Supervisor.
- Work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
- Complete maintenance tasks, including airframe structure, power plant, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Replace avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability.
- Supervise mechanical fitters and certify their work.
- Conduct off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, component and composite technical work in workshops as required.
- Assist in day-to-day running of the aircraft hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
Estimated Salary: £40 per hour.
Required Qualifications:
- CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence - H135/H145 rated and experience.
- Experience of Flight Operations and Line Maintenance.
- Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems.
- Knowledge of specialized test equipment relating to engine and airframe systems.
