Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Educational Support Specialist to join our team at The Infant and Nursery School. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to make a positive impact on the lives of our young students.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced teachers to provide general and specific assistance to pupils and staff under the direction, guidance, and direct supervision of the classroom teacher. Key responsibilities include supporting individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom, assisting with behaviour management, and contributing to maintaining a safe environment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a grade C / 4, or equivalent, in English and Maths GCSE,
  • Good communication skills and an interest in working with children and young people,
  • A good level of literacy and numeracy.

Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive salary of £24,404 SCP6 £25,193 per annum, Pro-Rata - £11,295 - £11,865 per annum, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth within the Education Trust.
