Job Summary

Northern Marine is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to our busy department, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the department, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Assist in the organization of company presentations, meetings, and events.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues through effective communication and excellent customer service.
  • Gain and develop a good general knowledge of client companies and their contract requirements.
  • Respond effectively and efficiently to all client and colleague queries.
  • Help devise, develop, and implement good administrative practices, including updating and maintaining trainee databases and personnel files.
  • Coordinate cadet availability around exams and courses, and process applicants' documentation.
  • Adhere to and comply with ISO 9001 standards and maintain confidentiality of company information.

Candidate Requirements

  • Sound education at Standard Grade level or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Comply with GDPR regulations and maintain confidentiality.
  • Professional and pleasant telephone manner.
  • Good team attitude and attention to detail.

Desirable Qualifications

  • HNC/HND in business administration or related subjects.
  • Previous experience of working in a busy office atmosphere.
  • Previous experience in devising and implementing administrative procedures.
