UK Nuclear Safety Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Nuclear QHSE Advisor to lead our QHSE team and develop strategies to improve our nuclear safety culture.
This role requires a high level of expertise in Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, Radioprotection processes, systems, and tools, as well as experience in implementing processes and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accident/Incident Investigation/Problem solving, IOSH/NEBOSH safety certificate, and experience in highly regulated industries, particularly in the nuclear sector.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £65,000-£85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days annual leave per year, increasing to 30 (plus one extra day for each two years' service), 8% Employer pension contribution, individual and family private healthcare, life assurance, employee assistance programme (EAP), income protection, professional body membership, cycle to work scheme, and access to language courses.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement QHSE strategies to improve our nuclear safety culture;
- Lead the QHSE team and provide guidance and support to team members;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. CDM) for QHSE;
- Implement Nuclear Safety initiatives to maintain a strong nuclear safety culture across the organization and supply partners;
- Collaborate with project, engineering, and design teams to ensure quality, health, safety, and environmental aspects are maintained;
