Role Overview

We are seeking a Fire Safety Specialist to provide valuable support throughout our health and safety team in Dunstable bakeries.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site inspections, record findings, and raise actions to ensure effective management of health and safety protocols.
  • Monitor outstanding actions and guarantee their completion to maintain legal compliance.
  • Identify good practices and communicate them throughout all sites to promote a positive safety culture.
  • Provide advice, support, and guidance on fire prevention matters to staff and supervisors.
  • Liaise with managers to ensure continual improvement of health and safety protocols.
  • Conduct and report on audits throughout the sites to identify areas for improvement.
About This Role

This Fire Safety Specialist position requires a good working knowledge of fire safety and ideally holds qualifications such as the NEBOSH General Certificate and/or NEBOSH Fire Certificate level. Additionally, you should be computer literate, commercially aware, and able to plan, organize, and deliver projects.

Estimated Salary: £38,500 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience
