Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and delivering technical projects, managing teams, and ensuring the highest quality of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage technical delivery teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to complex engineering problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer status (e.g., MICE, MIStructE, or MIMechE).
  • Proven experience in structural engineering, with a strong background in finite element analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., Eurocode, ASCE, or ACI).
  • Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software.
  • Knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., Abaqus, Ansys, or SAP2000).
