Senior Structural Engineer

We are working with a leading global consultancy to find a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Epsom, Surrey, or their Central London office near Victoria.
As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering global projects for offshore wind turbine generator assets, developing innovative solutions for repair and upgrades, and designing and analysing fixed and floating structures for the growing offshore renewables sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and analyse offshore structures, including fixed and floating foundation design for offshore wind turbine generators and substations, considering site-specific hydrodynamic loads and environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry design standards (API, DNV, NORSOK, etc.).
- Assess, review, and interpret technical inputs required for offshore structural design.
- Ensure that all design work under your purview is performed, reviewed, checked, and approved in accordance with engineering procedures or as specified in a Project Quality Plan.
- Years of relevant experience in the offshore industry with a focus on either Primary or Secondary Steel design, preferably for Offshore Wind Turbine Generator Foundations.
- Master's degree in Offshore Structures, Ocean Engineering, Structural Engineering, or relevant discipline with an excellent understanding of Structural Mechanics and Hydrodynamics.
- Proficiency in the use of SESAM or SACS software is considered ideal, although practical experience with comparable software can also be considered.
- Knowledge in programming and scripting skills (Python or VBA) is considered an advantage, but not mandatory.
