Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Practitioner Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team on the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a leading provider of mental health and complex care. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children and a strong background in mental health.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a therapy-led hospital with a supportive multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based treatments to children and young people with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to children and young people
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development of the service and the implementation of new initiatives
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance clinical skills
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
