Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Psychologist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality psychological care to our clients.

About the Role

As an Assistant Psychologist, you will work closely with our experienced team of psychologists to provide support and enhance psychological care. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting qualified practitioners in the delivery and evaluation of psychological interventions
  • Developing and delivering a group programme for Primary Care Network Aligned Psychology
  • Supporting and enhancing the professional psychological care of clients within the service
  • Working with inpatients, outpatients, and staff of primary care and secondary care mental health services

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc in Psychology (approved by BPS)
  • Relevant mental health experience

Desirable qualifications include experience of group work, working with clients with severe mental health issues, and working in primary care.
