Job Title: Business Finance Partner

Travis Perkins is seeking a highly skilled Business Finance Partner to join our team in Northampton. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will provide first-class finance business partnering support to our General Merchanting organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership team to drive business performance and maximise achievement against the annual operating plan.
  • Support, challenge and be an important part of the Senior Leadership team through provision of business insight and KPI analysis.
  • Contribute to the wider TP finance function to provide high-quality commercial and financial support.
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date forecast of expected monthly performance to provide early notification of significant variances to budget.
  • Work with the Business Line pricing and commercial teams to understand the impact of commercial and pricing decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise performance through increased revenue and margin, reduced cost, or more optimum use of capital assets.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of being able to communicate with finance and non-finance people.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheet skills.
  • Ability to interpret data into action-oriented insight.
  • Strong commercial thought process.
  • Awareness of external impacts on the business.
