Job Overview

The successful applicant will be working as a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant in an Ofsted 'Outstanding' Secondary School located in Waltham Forest. This role involves supporting students with Autism and ADHD, providing tailored assistance to meet their individual needs.

Salary
This is a highly competitive position offering a daily rate of £95-£105 via PAYE (Holiday pay included). The salary is negotiable based on experience.

About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with highly qualified professionals, including a Psychologist experienced in Autism and ADHD. You will gain valuable insights and skills while collaborating with a supportive staff environment. Additionally, you will have access to weekly CPD sessions for your personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to students with Autism and ADHD
- Collaborate with KS3/4 Class Teachers to deliver tailored assistance
- Develop expertise in working with children with SEN

Requirements
- A relevant First-Class Degree from a Russell Group University
- Previous experience working with children with Autism and ADHD
- Enthusiastic and caring personality
- Excellent Communication Skills and a genuine passion to make a positive impact on the lives of SEND children
