Academic Support Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Education Support Professional to join our Reception team at Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and child development.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum, including observing, assessing, and recording children's progress.
- Deliver phonics sessions in line with the school's chosen phonics program to develop early reading skills.
- Provide pastoral care and promote the well-being of all children, supporting daily routines such as snack times, toileting, and outdoor activities.
Estimated Salary: £13,750 - £14,000 per annum, based on a part-time contract of 2 days a week.
