We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Academic Support Professional to join our team in the Lancaster area.

As an Academic Support Professional, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide high-quality support to students with varying Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN, following Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Assist teachers in lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that learning activities are engaging and inclusive.
  • Collaborate with other support staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments, best practices, and new technologies to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, paid in line with Lancashire County Council's rates:

  • Level 1: £12.09 per hour
  • Level 2: £12.31 per hour
  • Level 3: £13.97 per hour
  • HLTA: £16.18 per hour
