Sales Associate, Trauma Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Associate to join our Trauma division. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for developing the skills required to manage accounts within an existing sales territory and become responsible for the day-to-day running of key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the Trauma portfolio to offer customers a comprehensive understanding of our product range.
  • Provide product support to surgeons and theatre staff during Trauma procedures to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Make observations of customer needs and liaise with sales colleagues to follow up on and introduce new or additional Stryker product and/or support.
  • Record details of customers and maintain a basic business plan highlighting daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
  • Develop the skills needed to prioritise where to allocate time and resource and how to grow business.
  • Conduct price negotiations, produce sales quotations, manage contracts, and provide added value propositions that maximise Stryker profitability.
  • Develop an understanding of the local healthcare environment, including the patient pathway through a hospital and the role we play in providing product for suitable treatment.
  • Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports creativity and team spirit.

Requirements

  • Science or business-based educational background or equivalent experience/training.
  • Working experience in or tailored to sales.
  • Driven attitude, people focus, and plenty of charisma.
  • Computer skills, MS Office.
  • Confident presentation skills.
  • Interest in anatomy and physiology.
  • Demonstrated high achiever who loves to learn and take on challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer relationships in a high-pressure setting.
  • Background that demonstrates an ability to engage with others, influence, motivate, and work hard.
  • Valid UK driver's license.
