We are seeking a skilled Freight Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of all freight legal compliance and operational efficiency and effectiveness in Dormakaba Supply chains.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Consolidate and track freight supplier information to be used in Vendor appraisals.
  • Maintain data used on Freight control tower (Exceptions, timed spend).
  • Provide quotations for Freight movements and develop knowledge to offer guidance to the business.
  • Develop specific product knowledge to be able to work out weight & dimensions for freight quotes and paperwork.
  • Coordinating container/air freight shipment dates with forwarders/suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to be organized, diligent, methodical, in an environment where you manage data accurately.
  • Experience of using SAP (or equivalent) MRP desirable but not essential.
