Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to support the smooth and effective running of our highly successful purchasing department. As part of this role, you will be required to work closely with the purchasing manager to provide all purchasing administration required to ensure optimal stock for the supply of customer orders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, maintain and review raising of purchase orders within our ERP system to ensure continuity of stock.
- Manage, maintain and improve the working relationships with relevant suppliers.
- Monitor, report and control stock levels, responsible for all factors that determine stock availability, whilst contributing to continuous improvement of processes and maximising stock turn & working capital.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous operational experience, working in a busy office / supply chain environment.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Great communication ability, as you will be required to liaise with both internal and external customers.
- Competent IT user, experience with Excel and MRP system would be beneficial.
