About the Role
A competitive salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience, is available for this exciting opportunity to work as a Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. You will assist with daily living tasks, provide emotional support and companionship, and help create a warm and welcoming environment for all.
Your duties may include:
- Supporting residents with their personal care needs, such as bathing and dressing
- Assisting with medication administration and recording
- Preparing and serving meals and refreshments
- Engaging in activities and hobbies with residents to promote social interaction and stimulation
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience of caring for older people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate and empathetic approach
- The ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
