Role Overview

The successful candidate will utilize their specialist clinical knowledge to inform decision-making and clinical judgment, providing expert advice to the multidisciplinary team in the management of patient conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers, clients, and relatives.
  • Support the development of the service to improve practice and work collaboratively across healthcare boundaries, implementing and evaluating evidence-based standards, guidelines, and policies.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and review patient conditions, ensuring comprehensive and patient-centered care.

Requirements

The post holder will be required to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group, an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
