We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Disability Nurse to join our Child and Adolescent Learning Disability Service (CALDS) team. As a Learning Disability Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of children and adolescents with learning disabilities and complex needs
- Undertake clinical assessments to identify individual needs and develop person-centred care plans
- Develop and contribute to the development of Positive Behavioural Support Plans for children and young people
- Work collaboratively with the CALDS and wider multi-disciplinary team to provide intervention programmes
- Registered Learning Disability Nurse with current NMC registration
- Experience of working with children and young people with complex needs
- Desirable: Positive Behaviour Support qualification
