Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business and Economics educator to join our team at Cardiff International Study Centre. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business and Economics modules to students on International Foundation Year Programmes (level 3) and International Year One Programmes (Level 4)
  • Contribute to the development of teaching materials and formative assessment
  • Empower students to reach their full potential by providing student-centred, engaging, and innovative learning experiences
  • Prepare and deliver teaching sessions, with a maximum teaching load of up to 25 hours per week
  • Mark students' formative and summative assessment submissions and provide timely feedback
  • Develop and update course material for modules and teaching sessions
  • Support with the coordination of and delivery of labs
  • Implement quality assurance procedures at module and teaching session-level

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics (Essential)
  • Master's in Business and Economics or a related discipline (Desirable)
  • Teaching qualification (Desirable)
  • Experience teaching in UK higher, further education or sixth form (Essential)
