About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Economic Modelling Expert to join our expanding team at HEOR. As a crucial member of our team, you will have the autonomy to implement cutting-edge modelling techniques, conduct in-depth analyses, and create professional materials for dissemination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build health economic models, including technical skills such as CEM, BIM, COM, DTM, and early models.
  • Review, extract, and analyse data to inform economic models, including healthcare costs, quality-adjusted life-years, and productivity losses.
  • Develop high-quality and relevant economic models, technical reports, and user guides, with guidance and support as needed.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to solving client challenges and research questions, critically evaluating value propositions within the context of the evidence base available.
  • Implement high-quality models in Excel and VBA or R based on agreed concepts or protocols.
  • Adapt and conduct health economic analysis on global models to inform local HTA dossier development.
  • Participate in research dissemination, including publication and presentation of research.
  • Collaborate with the HE team and other business units across HEOR, as well as with clients and external collaborators.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in health economics or an alternative quantitative subject (economics, statistics, mathematics, operational research).
  • Experience in developing health economics models in Excel and VBA.
  • Experience in adapting and localising health economics models.
  • Skills in applying economic and statistical analysis.
  • An understanding of the HEOR/HTA and commercial landscape.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
