Health Economist Modeller

We are seeking a talented Health Economist to contribute to our expanding health economic modelling team at HEOR. As a crucial member of our team, you will have the autonomy to implement cutting-edge modelling techniques, conduct in-depth analyses, and create professional materials for dissemination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the model development process, including technical skills in designing and building health economic models.
- Review, extract, and analyse data to inform economic models, including healthcare costs, quality-adjusted life-years, and productivity losses.
- Independently develop high-quality economic models, technical reports, and user guides, seeking guidance and support as needed.
- Implement high-quality models in Excel and VBA or R, based on agreed concepts or protocols.
- Adapt and conduct health economic analysis on global models to inform local HTA dossier development.
- Actively participate in research dissemination, including publication and presentation of research.
- Collaborate with the HE team and other business units across HEOR, as well as with clients and external collaborators.
Requirements:
- Master's in health economics or alternative quantitative subject (economics, statistics, mathematics, operational research).
- Experience in developing health economics models in Excel and VBA.
- Experience in adapting and localizing health economics models.
- Skills in applying economic and statistical analysis.
- Understanding of the HEOR/HTA and commercial landscape.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
