Commercial Lawyer – Digital & Technology

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer with expertise in digital technology and data protection to join our expanding national digital, tech, and data team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients across various sectors, including advanced manufacturing, energy transition, transport, logistics, and international trade.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on complex technology transactions, digital transformation projects, data protection, and emerging technologies like generative AI.
  • Collaborate with developers and suppliers of innovative products and services to assist businesses in adopting and implementing digital technologies.
  • Offer guidance on contract strategy, data protection, regulatory matters, and risk management.
  • Contribute to multi-jurisdictional projects, helping businesses expand into international markets.
Requirements:
  • Over four years of post-qualification experience in digital, technology, and/or data protection.
  • At least four years of experience as a qualified solicitor in the UK (England, Wales, or Scotland) within the digital technology sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a commercial environment, particularly in digital/tech and data protection.
