About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer to join our client's nationally recognised Real Estate Energy and Natural Resources team. The ideal candidate will have over four years of post-qualification experience in digital, technology, and/or data protection, gained at a City or large regional firm, or in-house.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in a commercial environment, particularly in digital/tech and data protection, with a focus on complex and high-profile transactions such as digital transformation projects, software licensing, IT services, data protection, cybersecurity, and new technologies like generative AI.

About the Team

Our client's national digital, tech, and data team is expanding. They represent an impressive array of FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 clients, public sector organisations, educational institutions, and industry bodies, handling high-profile, business-critical projects and regulatory matters.

The team collaborates with developers and suppliers of innovative products and services, working closely with the commercial and national sector teams. They assist businesses in adopting and implementing digital technologies to boost productivity and competitiveness across various sectors, including advanced manufacturing, energy transition, transport, logistics, and international trade.

What We're Looking For
  • A lawyer with over four years of post-qualification experience in digital, technology, and/or data protection
  • Demonstrated expertise in a commercial environment, particularly in digital/tech and data protection
  • Experience in complex and high-profile transactions such as digital transformation projects, software licensing, IT services, data protection, cybersecurity, and new technologies like generative AI
