Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Brent.

About the Role:

  • Provide support to children in the classroom, helping them to stay engaged and focused.
  • Implement strategies to assist children with special educational needs, such as autism and ADHD.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to adapt learning materials and activities to meet the needs of children.
  • Offer emotional support and encouragement to build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Monitor student progress and work closely with the school's SENCO to develop and review individualized support plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in some capacity, such as an aupair, nanny, tutor, or scout leader.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to the child's well-being and academic progress.
