About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to gain experience working in a secondary school environment and develop their skills in the education sector. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with the staff and students to provide support and guidance.
Responsibilities- Support the teaching staff in the classroom
- Assist with the planning and preparation of lessons
- Work with students who require additional support
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school environment
- A Bachelor's degree (minimum lower second)
- Interest in working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Experience working with secondary school children (ages 11-16)
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
