Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Projects delivery team across our two BAE customer sites in Preston.

As a Senior Project Manager at Mitie, you will be responsible for managing a team of Project and Assistant Project Managers, delivering multiple projects for our BAE customer. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading your team and projects with ownership, ensuring excellence in execution, client satisfaction, and adherence to financial and health and safety standards.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Overseeing project budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation, ensuring that projects are financially viable and cost-effective.
  • Complying with health and safety regulations, particularly the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM), and promoting a culture of safety and well-being on all projects.
  • Providing regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability, and ensuring meticulous project documentation.

You will be a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to drive teams towards excellence and navigate complex project challenges effectively. Your expertise in project administration, financial management, and risk management will be essential in delivering successful projects.
