We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead our large-scale IT projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a complex supply chain and stakeholder environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, large-value projects with transformational business impact.
- Provide strong and effective leadership to project teams.
- Work with vendors to define project plans and achieve organisational goals.
- Deliver projects to time, cost, and quality targets.
- Provide timely and concise decision-making information to customers and stakeholders.
- Proactively manage risk and control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure project delivery adheres to BAE governance criteria.
Requirements:
- Experience of working on enterprise-wide IT projects and managing suppliers.
- Demonstrable experience of full end-to-end project lifecycle delivery.
- Experience of successfully delivering business transformation and change.
- Experience of waterfall and agile project delivery methodologies.
- Ability to lead project collaboration and cross-functional working.
- Degree-qualified APM qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to IT project management.
